ACTILINK-S
INTEGRATED
SERVOMOTORS

ACTILINK-S Product Overview: Comparison of All Models with ISO Flanges and Connector Configurations
Size Comparison: ACTILINK-S vs. Conventional Servo Systems with Separate Drive and MotorACTILINK-S Space-Saving Advantage: Integrated Complete System in a Direct Size Comparison with a Standard Solution

The most compact integrated servo motor

  • Minimal installation space: from just 60 x 60 x 104 mm - and even larger variants remain significantly shorter than standard market solutions.
  • Everything integrated: Motor, encoder and electronics in one housing - no additional servo controller required in the control cabinet.
  • Slim design: No "electronic backpacks" or bulky additional modules - all functions are located directly in the motor.
  • More freedom in mechanical engineering: Shorter designs enable more compact system layouts and open up new design possibilities.
Your advantage: No matter which motor size you choose - you always get the most compact solution in its performance class. This saves space, reduces installation costs and increases the efficiency of your machine.

The most powerful integrated servo motor

  • 200 W to 1000 W continuous power
  • Up to 13 Nm maximum torque
ACTILINK-S motors offer continuous power from 200 W to 1000 W. The peak power can reach up to 3.4 kW and the peak torque up to 13 Nm. The ACTILINK-S thus sets new standards and overcomes the limits of conventional, low-power integrated servos.

Versatile fieldbus options

  • EtherCAT
  • PROFINET (with IRT)
  • EtherNet/IP
Your advantage: Multiple fieldbus options, one servo platform, allowing you to standardize your design, tools and workflows, regardless of the fieldbus you choose.

NO DERATING

  • Patented thermal design
  • Up to 5 times higher power density than other motor and drive solutions
For the first time ever: an integrated motor in the same space as a conventional single motor - with the same performance. The entire servo drive and the encoder have been integrated into the housing of the encoder. Thanks to a patented thermal design, the motor offers up to 5 times the power density of other motor-plus-drive solutions.‍
ACTILINK-S Thermal Curve: No derating up to the rated temperature—full power across the entire operating range
ACTILINK-S Multiturn Encoder: battery-free, absolute position detection over multiple revolutions

18 bit multiturn absolute encoder

With 262,144 increments per revolution, the integrated position encoder offers a resolution of less than 5 arcsec.

It is calibrated for maximum precision and thus achieves an absolute accuracy (INL) of 0.055 degrees.

The multiturn function uses energy harvesting to register every movement even when the external power supply is switched off.

SINGLE-CABLE
TECHNOLOGY

With this technology, you only need a single cable and a single connector for everything: DC power, fieldbus and STO (Safe Torque Off). There are no additional feedback or phase cables as ACTILINK-S detects the feedback directly at the point of motion. A daisy chain option is also available. The Quick Lock closure ensures a fast and secure connection.

MOTION CONTROL
AT ROBOTICS LEVEL

The motor uses the complete SOMANET motion control stack, which enables robotics-level motion control performance for any machine. It includes functions such as auto-tuning, cogging compensation, feedforward algorithms and much more.
