I am using a stack board IFM DC100 CORE C22 COM EtherCAT with the codes from the tutorials. When launching the script, the program sends motor and controller parameters through EtherCAT. This process takes same times (several seconds) with variation in the starting of the communication and the evolution of it (when we see the numbers increasing). As I have several boards in series in my system, it takes some time.
Is there an issue with my setup ? Is there a way to speed this process ?
Do you have any example of code with embedded motor/controller parameters directly on the board ?
