    I am currently trying to communicate with the Core C22 through ethernet via Ethernet COM board. For a trial I tried running the Ping Demo app provided in the Somanet ethernet module. I configured the IP according to the availability in my LAN. But I’m not getting any response to the pings I’m sending to the IP.

    Moreover the app is printing out ‘-1’ as the number of bytes received after the initialisation. Moreover the two LEDs with the ethernet port on the COM board are not glowing.

    Any comments would be appreciated.

    We tried to reproduce the issue with no success.
    I created a new workspace from scratch with the sources you can download here: 
    You need to download the Ethernet library as well as the SOMANET base library.
    After downloading, all libraries need to be imported to your workspace in order to be able to correctly compile the ping demo.
    Once you’ve done that, you can configure the IP addresses of the SOMANET node using the config/ethernet_config.h header file. When you run the application, please make sure that your computer is in the same subnet as the node and has a fixed IP address set. You should now be able to reach the device.
