The MOTORCORTEX Control Case is a complete Industrial Motion Control and Safety System in a small form-factor. It has everything you need to control any EtherCAT-based Machine or Robot safely.
Out-of-the-box it is set-up with the MOTORCORTEX-Generic-App pre-installed. This allows control of up to 6 EtherCAT servo axis and numerous EtherCAT IO straight from a connected web-browser. No software installation required. It allows for synchronous replay of motion profiles on all axes simultaneously.
The MOTORCORTEX Control Case also has everything on board to get started quickly with developing your own Advanced Control Systems in C++. Use the application templates available for C-Lion and the tools available on motorcortex.io.
The Controller is equipped with a Powerful CPU for advanced Motion Control Applications and an EtherCAT Safety Controller (FSoE) that is easily expandable through EtherCAT.
For providing MOTORCORTEX, Synapticon partners with Vectioneer, specialists in highly dynamic motion control software. Vectioneer are the developers of MOTORCORTEX. Based on the request of Synapticon, Vectioneer started the addition of MOTORCORTEX Robot and today both companies are closely collaborating on the further development and on providing the software to the market in partnership.
